Meet Viktor Kalvachev, artist, designer, Chief Creative Officer and Co-Founder of TAO-Wellness.

Viktor designed the TAO Chair, sculpting its arms out of wax then casting them in aluminum. He will be directing the design of both TAO Chair and TAO WellShell 3.0 projects as they move into production in 2015.

Viktor has co-authored half a dozen new patent applications for online entertainment and health/fitness devices.

We sit too much – in cars, at desks and in front of the TV at home. In recent years, there has been a shift of focus in the medical and scientific communities towards the “emerging field of inactivity studies.” The primary focus of inactivity studies is the negative health effects of a sedentary lifestyle, i.e. sitting, and their findings have been startling.

CES 2015 was a Success

Already the largest tech show in the world, CES 2015 broke all preexisting records for sheer magnitude. According to CEA, “The 2015 CES wrapped as the largest show in history with more than 2.2 million net square feet of exhibit space featuring more than 3,600 exhibitors, including a record number of startups.” It never ceases to amaze how fast an empty space turns into a bustling completed center of activity for an event on this scale.
